BLS International Services, a leading global AI and tech-enabled service provider, has reported that its net profit in the September quarter was up 9 per cent at ₹202 crore against ₹186 crore logged in the same period last year, on the back of robust demand.

Revenue was up 32 per cent at ₹973 crore (₹737 crore). EBITDA increased 17 per cent to ₹248 crore (₹213 crore).

During the quarter, the company strengthened its AI-led technology ecosystem through investments in automation, secure infrastructure and strategic partnerships.

The initiatives are driving operational efficiencies, reinforcing data security and enhancing the applicant’s experience, said the company.

BLS International achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 500 million applications processed across its Visa, Consular and Citizen Services businesses worldwide.

Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, BLS International Services, said the Visa & Consular Services business maintained steady momentum, with Q2 revenue and EBITDA growing 11 per cent each to ₹510 crore and ₹214 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 42 per cent.

Despite geopolitical and travel-related disruptions in certain markets, he said the diversified global presence and operating capabilities supported the performance.

BLS now operates in over 100 countries and achieved the milestone of processing 500 million applications globally across Visa, Consular and Citizen Services, he added.

The Digital Services business continued its strong growth trajectory, with Q2 revenue increasing 66 per cent y-o-y to ₹463 crore and EBITDA growing by 67 per cent to ₹34 crore supported by expanding e-governance and citizen services platform.

Global Advisory Board was further strengthened with the appointment of former Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves as Global Strategic Advisor, following the appointment of former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Additionally, the company is advancing its AI-led technology ecosystem and future-ready workforce through investments in automation, secure infrastructure, strategic partnerships and employee upskilling, he said.

Looking ahead, the company remains confident of growth prospects, supported by expanding global footprint, established government relationships, technology capabilities and the growing scale of Digital Services, said Aggarwal.
